The Sun

Diameter at equator

Graphic Model of the Sun

This is a shot from the U.S. Space station in 1976 showing a tremendous solar eruption. The arc of this  material flows along magnetic lines. I have put a small dot inside the arc that is the relative size of the earth's   diameter (7,930 miles / 12,756 kilometers).

The sun has perplexes scientists to this day. I believe the sun functions in a completely different manner that the current theories assume.

One of status quo's  biggest problems is the temperature paradox.

The temperature of the   interior of the sun is stated to be 15 million degrees in order for the fusion theory to work.

The surface temperature of the sun is between 6,000 and 8,000 degrees.

The corona of the sun a million degrees

The temperature of the corona is confirmed.

The temperature of the surface of the sun  is confirmed.

The temperature of the  interior is speculation based on the requirements of the fusion theory.

Now how can the sun be 2 million degrees on one side of the surface and 15 million degrees on the other side of the surface yet the surface remains a relatively cool 6,000 degrees?

See this link for more data. http://www.lmsal.com/YPOP/Spotlight/Tour/tour05.html

Eugen Averett of the Smithsonian Astrophysical observatory stated "The temperature (of the corona) increases slowly at first, then extremely rapidly in the narrow transition region between the chromosphere and corona where the temperature surges upwards by a factor of about from about 10,000 degrees Kelvin to about 1,000,000  degrees Kelvin. The reason for this abrupt increase .... is not fully understood.

Indeed there are other problems with the theories of the sun.

One of the largest sunspot groups in recent years  during summer of 2000.

The sunspots are areas of material upwelling.

The newest images from the Trace images makes this very apparent.

Download  this video and run it in a loop for study.

( I have not figured out how to set this up yet)

The sunspot areas appear dark because they are cooler than the surrounding surface of the sun. If the material that is coming from deeper within the sun is cooler than the surface temperature doesn't that prove that the sun is cooler on the inside? Sunspots are also areas of  extremely active magnetic fields. These areas are very active yet cooler than the surrounding surface. How can something more active be cooler?

Here are some of the images that the Trace program is producing.

It shows graceful arcs of intensely hot gas suspended in owerful arcs suspended above an solar active region. The colorized image was made in the extreme ultraviolet light radiated by highly ionised iron particles. With a temperature of a mere 6,000 degrees , the surface is relatively cool and dark at these wavelengths, but the million degree hot plasma loops glow strongly!

The Missing Neutrino's

Another problem is the missing neutrino's. The sun either doesn't function the way the current theory states or the understanding of neutrino's is in error.

John Bahcall who first proposed the details of how the sun's fusion reactions functioned states' "We do not know of any modifications of the astrophysical calculations of the state of the solar interior that could lead to the reconciliation without requiring new physics for the neutrino."

Another new problem is emerging. With the new images arriving it is begining to appear like the sun rotates as a solid body.  I have compiled month long movies that allow you to look down through the rotating outer photosphere and see the solid body of the sun.

Write me and ask for my latest compiled movies on CD.

The SoHo Project  has given us great documentation of the sun in a variety of light waves allowing us to look below the surface and see the energy flows of the sun.  What this has revealed is that the high energy sites seam to stay in the same places and the same arrangement ...just like the sun is a solid body. One concrete example is when a coronal hole is opened up the underlying energy flows  indicate that the sun is a solid body.

Coronal holes are regions where the corona is dark. These features were discovered when X-ray telescopes were first flown above the earth's atmosphere to reveal the structure of the corona across the solar disc. Coronal holes are associated with "open" magnetic field lines and are often found at the Sun's poles. The high-speed solar wind is known to originate in coronal holes.
