Self Determinism

And Gods Creation

This is a duality that is hard to understand. I struggled with this seemingly irreconcilable problem for quite a while.   It is obvious in scripture that  Man has free will and chooses his own path . Yet  the universe was created by GOD and HE  controls all things. The position and trajectory of every dust mote is known by him and progresses on his designed path. Every detail of the entire universe has been perfectly created. The codes in the bible prove that even the languages and complete history and future of Earth are all known to GOD and within his perfect creation.

How is is that we have free agency. How can it be that we have the ability to choose our path. If all things are predetermined how can we have freedom of choice? And Why do we have freedom of choice?

The only purpose of freedom of choice must be for our selves. God doesn't need us to have free choice. His purpose in designing this must be for us.  It can only be so that we can be sure that we made the choice to come to GOD and obey his word. If we didn't we would not be  worthy to glimpse the path.  We must need to know that we decided to obey. We must be allowed to decide so that we know we also chose our destiny. Otherwise life would be a puppet show.   This is not what the creator designed. He gives us free will so that we decide and can take responsibility for what happens to us. We choose. We reap. We become what he already knows we will become under our own free will. This is one of the most important aspects of life and it is for us that we have free will.

While we do not deserve salvation through our own effort we must need to know we chose our path. The system of life is designed to put us through our lessons in easy steps that we can handle. We are never given more than we can accomplish.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. I Corinthians 10:13

Predestination down to our individual salvation is clear. We are chosen by God to be saved and this occurred at creation in the beginning.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Romans Chapter 8 Verse  28 &29

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Ephesians Chapter 1 Verse 4&5

The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. Revelations Chapter 17 verse 8

God has prepared a place for us that is perfect  and for acceptance into this kingdom we need to be cleansed of sin.  This  would be   impossible to attain. GOD provided a way. If you  accept Jesus as your Savior, then through his sacrifice, we are cleansed by his blood.  This is the only way.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.  Titus 3:5-6

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews Chapter 9 verse 28
